As a Native New Yorker, I can tell you where to find the best pizza and I’m always ready to enjoy a pie with friends.
That’s why when HelloWellness — a company that brings together like-minded health enthusiasts, wellness professionals, brands, and bloggers — invited me to an exclusive cooking class, I said Yes.
When it comes to attending a make your own pizza party, there really is no other answer!
Hosted by food blogger Rachel Mansfield and sponsored by Mikey’s Pizza Crust, the pizza party was held at TasteBuds. And in news that would surprise many of my friends… I attended the event by myself! One of my goals this year is to not feel like I need a +1 in order to have fun.
Learning about Haven’s Row while enjoying old favorites — Miyoko’s Kitchen and Spindrift was a bonus. There were craft cocktails and wines but I stuck with water.
Haven Row tomato vegetable Do Anything sauce is vegan and really addictive. And I have a feeling I will be using it often.
The other ladies at my table were so creative when coming up with combinations for their pizzas. I decided tomato vegetable sauce, fresh basil, and vegan cheese was the way to go to top Mikey’s paleo pizza crust. I was pretty proud of my flavor combination and snapped a photo before my creation was put in the oven.
And the parting gifts were also great. Loved having the tote to use the next day at the grocery store.
Thanks for the invite HelloWellness!
