In the city that never sleeps there is no shortage of activities to do with friends. From pop up restaurants and film festivals to readings and live shows; we have endless options for our time outside of the workplace. But sometimes we need to do something different from our norm and Paint Nite gives us that.
As a guest of Paint Nite, I went down to Muse Paint Bar in TriBeCa on a night I desperately needed a change up to the usual plan for the weekend. I am a terrible artist and usually tell people I can’t draw a stick figure. My excuse? Taking Latin in high school instead of art class. So I prepared myself to be the proud owner of the worst painting at the end of the night.
But the great thing about Paint Nite is that it’s really “no experience needed” because the artists break every step down for you. I think the instructor at Muse Paint Bar did a wonderful job pacing the instructions. And in case you are wondering, you ARE able to have a conversation throughout the process.Paint Nite is the perfect way for you to unwind with a cocktail while being creative.
Everyone laughs when they make a mistake. No one actually believes their painting will look exactly like the one the artist instructor paints.
Most importantly, at the end of a fun night you will have your very own original masterpiece to remember the experience.
